ATTENTION: Certain kinds of book pages make it hard to see the design. The music pages are very hard to read text over, as are any of the pages with large print on them. The music pages are the most difficult because of all of the lines and symbols. If you need to be able to read the text, please contact Neece so she can create a draft to show you BEFORE you order, and do not order the music pages as you will be unhappy with your page. As a general rule, the small print dictionaries are the easiest to read and people prefer them for printing text over, especially small text.

Each page is unique and is from a book that has been loved. There may be stains, spots, wrinkles (especially on the inside from the bookbinding process), bent corners, darker margins, smudges, old fingerprints, and other marks that add to its character.  Pages with highlighting or pictures are not used unless specifically requested.

The pages are delicately removed from the bindings and often that edge is a bit rough. Since some people like it and others don't we usually leave it rough so you get to choose.

Measurements given are not exact. The first measurement is in inches and the second measurement is millimeters. Each page is slightly different. (Metric measurements are converted from the imperial measurements)

IDEAS FOR FRAMING BOOK ART PAGES THAT ARE NOT STANDARD FRAME SIZE:

A lot of the pages are a bit too tall and/or too narrow to fit in a standard frame. If you don't want to get custom mats, here is what EcoCycled has come up with as a creative solution:

1. You can get a clear magnetic acrylic frame that is a bit bigger and float the book page within the frame.

2. Take a large sheet of colored kraft paper that complements the printed page and put that behind the page. Put the page in front, and then put them both in the frame. You will see a bit of the colored sheet showing around the edges where the page is a bit too small. You might need to crop off some of the top and bottom of the page to make it fit.

This lets you see the whole page, including the edge where it was removed from the book for an interesting look. If you don't like the rough edge, you can trim it off carefully with a paper cutter, and then do step 1 above.
